The real estate market in Nelson is still very active. There is a lot of interest from purchasers from outside the area, but overall the majority of buyers are locals.
There are two new condo developements under way which are in the $250,000+ range. There are still a couple of small units available in the low $200,000 range.
There is minimal land within the city available for purchase, waterfront is scarce and sold at a premium when introduced to the market.
